Taking motion in opposition to the ‘sand mafia’, the Pune Metropolis Police’s Crime Department on Friday booked six individuals and seized three vans for illegally transporting sand.
An offence on this case was lodged on the Loni Kalbhor police station beneath sections 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, sections of the Atmosphere Safety Act and different sections of the related legal guidelines.
